This page answers the most common questions about how Talentuch works, our recruitment models, fees, guarantees, and responsibilities. It is designed to give clear, upfront information before starting a recruitment engagement.
Is Talentuch a recruitment agency or a staffing agency?
Talentuch is a recruitment agency. We source, screen, and introduce candidates.
You hire and employ the candidate directly. If needed, you may use an Employer of Record (EOR); we can recommend partners and help coordinate. Contract and contract-to-hire models are not yet offered and are planned for future release.
Do you hire candidates, or do we hire them?
You hire the candidates directly. Talentuch does not employ candidates and does not act as the employer.
Is hiring included in your service, or is it an add-on?
Recruitment is our core service. We manage sourcing, screening, and candidate presentation. Hiring and employment are handled by the client.
When is a hire considered complete?
A hire is considered complete when a candidate accepts an offer of employment or contract engagement.
If the candidate does not start on the agreed start date, the hire is considered annulled.
Do you work on a success-fee basis?
Yes. In addition to Recruitment-as-a-Service (subscription recruitment), Talentuch also offers success-fee (contingency) recruitment, which many clients use.
For permanent hires, the success fee is 15% of the candidate’s annual gross salary.
50% is paid at the candidate’s start date, and 50% after successful completion of the probationary period (up to 90 days).
Do you offer a replacement guarantee?
Yes. If a permanent employee hired through Talentuch is discharged by the client within 90 days from the start date, Talentuch will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement at no additional fee, in accordance with the agreement.
The replacement guarantee does not apply in cases of downsizing, short-term contracts (90 days or less), or freelance engagements shorter than 12 months.
What is the probationary period in a success-fee contract?
The probationary period does not exceed 90 days, unless otherwise agreed.
The remaining portion of the success fee is payable after successful completion of this period.
Who handles background checks?
For permanent direct hires, background checks are handled by the client as part of their internal hiring process. Talentuch does not conduct background checks unless agreed separately.
Do you offer contract or contract-to-hire engagement models?
Not yet.
Please indicate this requirement in your request form — we are planning to introduce contract and contract-to-hire models in the near future.
Does Talentuch act as an Employer of Record (EOR)?
No. Talentuch does not act as an Employer of Record and does not employ candidates.
If needed, we can recommend trusted EOR partners and help coordinate the process. In this case, the employment contract is signed between you and the EOR.
What happens if no suitable candidate is hired?
This depends on the engagement model:
Success-fee (contingency): No fee is due unless a hire is made.
Recruitment-as-a-Service (subscription): Fees cover dedicated recruitment work during the subscription period, regardless of hire outcome. We also offer a money-back guarantee — if we do not present 3 qualified candidates within one month of the subscription start date, we refund the payment in full.
All terms are defined in the agreement before work begins.
What is a subscription-based recruitment service for IT companies and why do I need it for my business?
Our subscription-based recruitment service offers IT companies access to a dedicated technical recruitment team and full-cycle recruitment service for a fixed monthly fee. While your subscription is active, it allows you to fill multiple vacancies without incurring additional recruitment or success fees.
How quickly can you find candidates for my roles?
This depends on the position requirements and your company’s needs. We aim to make the first candidate submission within five days of signing a contract. Our fastest hires have been made within the first weeks of working with the role, but the recruitment process is built individually for each company.
Money-Back Guarantee
We want you to feel confident about working with Talentuch. That’s why we offer a Money-Back Guarantee: if we don’t find 3 qualified candidates within a month of your subscription start date, we’ll refund your payment in full.
What if I need more vacancies than offered in plans?
If you need more vacancies than offered in predefined plans, contact our team, and we will offer you a custom plan that will perfectly align with your company’s specific requirements, ensuring that all your hiring needs are covered.
How do you keep me informed about the recruitment progress?
Your dedicated account manager will provide weekly reports with the status of each candidate. For customers who select the Enterprise plan, we will also provide a custom headhunting strategy for each vacancy or country.
What is the pricing structure and are there any hidden fees?
There are no hidden fees. Our pricing structure is transparent and straightforward. We offer three plans, each with a fixed monthly fee based on the number of vacancies included. There are no hidden fees — what you see is what you get. Our commitment is to provide clear and honest pricing, ensuring you have the recruitment support you need without any unexpected surprises.
We recommend that you hire all candidates while the subscription is active. In the event that you cancel your subscription and subsequently hire a candidate we submitted to you, recruitment success fees may apply.
How can I cancel the subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time with 15 days' notice. Upon providing a 15-day notice, clients may cancel their plan subscription, with the cancellation taking effect after the 15-day notice period. The subscription fees for the same month will be prorated and terminated at the end of the current month.
What if I hire a candidate who was introduced during the subscription after I cancel the agreement?
We strongly advise our customers to hire candidates while the subscription is active. Our company makes a great effort to make the recruitment process affordable and to provide you with competitive prices for this type of service. But in the event that, after subscription termination, a customer wants to hire a candidate we presented, recruitment fees of 15% of the annual gross salary of every applicant hired may apply.
Do unused vacancies from my subscription plan roll over to the next month?
No, unused vacancies from your subscription plan do not carry over to the following month. Each month, your plan's allocated vacancies are available for your use within that billing cycle. This policy ensures that we can consistently provide high-quality service to all our clients without overloading our team's capacity, maintaining our commitment to excellence in every project. We encourage you to make the most of your plan by utilizing your vacancies effectively to meet your business's needs.
